Today we went to the doctor together for my checkup (21 weeks). We brought Olivia so that she could see the doctor without being the only one being harassed ;-) She's not in love with the doctor's office, and especially particular about them touching her.
So today, she got to see Mom get her nose cauterized and got to hear baby brother's heartbeat. She was really impressed. She lit up and the doctor was telling her that it was her baby brother's heartbeat - and the doctor said something like 'isn't that a funny noise - that's your baby brother's heartbeat'.
Olivia can't get over it. Tonight, for about 20 minutes of rocking Olivia kept processing. "brother, tummy, noise, listened, we heard him, Dr.Olson, baby brother, noise"... it was the sweetest thing ever watching her try to process it all... and just repeat those things over and over..
