Another Saturday party day!

This week, Olivia came down with pneumonia.  Fortunately, even though she was obviously very sick, we caught it fairly early, and she seemed fairly unaffected by it outside of the first day or so - when she just seemed to be a little extra cuddly every so often (which is definitely a good thing for mom's and dad's who are at home with the little sick one).

Olivia put on her party outfit again today, for Uncle Adam's big birthday party.  It was supposed to be preceded by some family time at the Cinco De Mayo celebration in Falls park, but due to weather, that was cancelled.  And, it wouldn't have mattered for us, because Livvy took a really long nap and didn't wake up until 3:30, so we would have missed most of it!  Apparently, my plan to wear her out, by going to the children's museum with Allie, so she would go down for a nap easily, went a little too well!  We had a nice time sharing a meal with the family, and of course, mom's renowned yellow birthday cake with extra extra chocolate frosting (which she figured out was her 177th birthday cake to be made)!    Also, Adam requested beef & beans for his meal but with buffalo meat.  I had the buffalo version, and it was really very good!

Grandma brough dinosaur hats for Adam's birthday party!

It was a fun evening! It was nice that Livvy's bedtime has recently changed over to the 8:30 time frame (as opposed to 7:15 which we have been at since she was just a newborn!), or we would not have made it through the evening in such good spirits.
