And this is just a cute one from today...
Olivia is turning into such a big girl, we can't even believe it... she regularly amazes us with how she seems to be such a big girl! This week Ben took Olivia to the doctor because we were worried about her congestion/cold situation. She had the beginnings of an ear infection (likely from the congestion situation creating an infection in her right ear). She is now on the bubble gum flavored amoxicillan, which she is pretty good at taking. At that appointment they took her weight, and though it is unofficial (because her clothes were on) - she likely weighs 14 lbs 6 ounces - at 21 weeks old.

At that appointment they took her weight, and though it is unofficial (because her clothes were on) - she likely weighs 14 lbs 6 ounces - at 21 weeks old.Lately, we've had an ongoing joke about she is such a big girl that she needs to get a job and start supporting herself. She tells us that she can't get a job cause she doesn't have a liscense or that she can't walk or that she can't talk. We tell her enough with the excuses. She tells us she thinks she'd be perfect working at Babies R'Us, but that she's worried she'll spend all of her earnings on product from the store.
Since Thanksgiving we now sing Christmas carols to Olivia. I sing her carols anytime I am putting her to sleep, or when she is on her changing table, and Ben and I sing together when she takes a bath.
